Our Pond Cottage is our premier rental which sleeps 4 and has all amenities: full equipped kitchen, full bathroom, WIFI, flat screens, private bedroom, comfortable futon bed in living room, gas fireplace, huge living room windows with wonderful view, great porch overlooking the pond, picnic table, firepit, bbq grill and private parking.
*Glamping trailer/ AKA “The Red Roof Inn” sleeps 4 and features double master bed, double bed up above in the gooseneck, perfect for kids or another couple, WIFI, refrigerator, microwave, canopy front porch with outside table, firepit and bbq grill all overlooking the pond with full use of shower house.
*WE also offer 10 tent campsites in the woods: 3 sites are large enough to accommodate group camping. All campsites are within 200 ft. from the shower house. Some of our tent sites overlook the pond and some have a running brook. *Make sure to bring flash lights and what you need to cook on your campfire with, pots, pans, etc.
Pond: The pond is made up of 13 artesian springs in the bottom which constantly feed the pond including clean spring water from the mountain. There are fish in the pond; bass, brim & catfish (catch & release only.) The pond is nestled in the cove surrounded only by woods & nature.
All campsites have fire pits. Fire wood is available from camp host.
You drive close to the campsites, unload your gear and park vehicle in designated parking area.
There are so many attractions in this area: Hiking, fishing, waterfalls, whitewater rafting, viewing wildlife, shopping, great restaurants, festivals, local attractions such as: Wheels Through Time Museam, Maggie Valley, Cherokee, Biltmore House and Gardens.
We are located only 3 miles from interstate 40, exit 20;
30 minutes from Cataloochee Valley in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park where the Elk live, 15 minutes from historic Downtown Waynesville, 10 minutes from beautiful Maggie Valley, 15 minutes from Blue Ridge Parkway, 30 minutes from Asheville, 30 minutes from Biltmore House and Gardens, 40 minutes from Cherokee Harrah’s Casino, one hour from Gatlinburg Tennessee and much more.
